"How in the hell dare he raise that? Frankly, when I was asked the question, I thought to myself, 'It wasn't any of their damn business,'" the president said in a hastily arranged press conference. "I don't need anyone to remind me of when he passed away." "I am well-meaning, and I'm an elderly man, and I know what the hell I'm doing. I've been president. I put this country back on its feet. I don't need his recommendation," he said. "My memory is fine." According to a recent ABC News/Ipsos poll, 86% of Americans think the 81-year-old president, the oldest in U.S. history, is too old to serve another term.
