Andrew Garbarino (R-NY), the chair of the Homeland Security Committee, called Tuesday for a "complete and impartial" investigation into the killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti by federal agents in Minneapolis.   "We have seen state and local jurisdictions refuse to protect federal law enforcement officers, and obviously, we have now seen the deaths of two American citizens in Minnesota," he said in his opening statement during a hearing with the leaders of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP).   "This is all unacceptable and preventable," he continued. "The safety of law enforcement and the communities they serve and protect must always come first. When officials or elected leaders rush to conclusions about law enforcement or their fellow Americans, public trust suffers.
